... to shame) (4 Seasons). Unfortunately, we will not be staying here for long, which is why I can't get to see even more sights here. On the bright side, I tried the You Dong Er, a scrumptious crispy turnip snack(Go To Hz). You would think that turnips back then would have tasted terrible, but it smelled like KFC! Anyway, I have to get back to the ship. We have upgraded the small ship and are sailing on a junk all the way to India!

... squatter toilets here were almost unbearable, but I REALLY had to go. Lisa, had to but “not THAT bad”. Grandma would just die! She can hardly walk into NICE public restrooms. I am not sure she would survive here. We checked the air pollution when we left because it actually felt worse than Shanghai and we were surprised to find that it was MUCH higher in Hangzhou! A city of 5 million people, Hangzhou (pronounced hung-joe) is a very industrialized city. It's had a lot of foreign investments, thus a lot of manufacturing here. Still a very pretty city with buildings going up everywhere. Condo living is king here.
