Xiaoshan, Hangzhou.

After another delicious lie in, I headed out for lunch back to the tasty and cheap 'curried veg'. Last time I was there Becky ordered the food so I wasn't paying any attention, however this time I was on my own, in an area of China where only the Starbucks staff speak broken English. It was delicious, and only cost £4! I couldn't believe ...

At 5pm I I went over to Rebecca's school and sat in one of her classes. She teaches English in a language school. The kids were lovely and she had them eating out of the palm of her hand. She has so much energy with them, I have ...

Heading to Hangzhou

A travel blog entry by lkglover on Aug 30, 2014

Today was a lazy day for me. I essentially woke up, packed, headed to Shanghai Hongqiao station and took a bullet train - first class- to Hangzhou to meet my friend who lives there. The train, again, was so fun! And reached 287km/h at one point. When I got to Rebecca's I met her cute dog Lanza and took her for a walk ...
