    Once we got some novelty photos taken (which we thought were free but we ended up having to pay for anyway) we made our way back down in the cable car to the hotel to get our bags, to then head back to the airport.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR from sunny Hong Kong!!!

    After a rather early start we said a very emotional goodbye to all our families plenty of hugs,loves and tears were exchanged as well as wishes of good luck and fun as we embarked on our adventure.

    ... which looked pretty busy, sadly. The observation deck is huge and offers stunning views of the HK skyline and the rest of HK in every direction. The hazy skies obscured our views, but we still spent a good amount of time on the deck in awe of how this giant metropolis was built on reclaimed marshy land and literally up the mountainsides.
