    ... 30 minutes we took a break to eat some snacks.. We ended up consuming the entire tupperware full of pakora a traditional Pakistani food that Ali's mom had made us. At this point we had no idea how we were planning on making it up the mountain before dark. We started at 12:45. It was supposed to get dark around 6:30.     ... surprise given we were at around 1700m high on the summit. Our standard pot noodle dinner, crackers and peanuts dinner was improved with a well earned cold beer before some logistics planning and then retiring to our separate dorms!     ... it keeps ghosts away, as ghosts are thought to move around via shuffling and cannot lift their feet (or whatever appendages ghosts have) to step over and into peoples homes. I thought this was a very interesting "superstition" (if you can call it that), but I suppose it is just as valid, if not more, as any black cat or broken mirror.
