    ... effortlessly across a pond in the center of an ancient courtyard and also spend time chasing each other across the beautiful pitched rooftops. While nothing that dramatic happened during our visit, it was certainly a very pretty courtyard.     ... it keeps ghosts away, as ghosts are thought to move around via shuffling and cannot lift their feet (or whatever appendages ghosts have) to step over and into peoples homes. I thought this was a very interesting "superstition" (if you can call it that), but I suppose it is just as valid, if not more, as any black cat or broken mirror.
