... were well and truly over our budget.

We pretty much just sat and were not even believing that this had happened. We were stranded in the most expensive country in the world. It was too cold and expensive to go back into town, so we caught the next bus to the aiport we supposed to be at originally.

The house we stayed in had the most modern shower I have ever seen. I needed my glasses to read how it all worked. We docked around 9:00 AM after sailing through imany islands. It was beautiful. The Oslo harbor is lovely and the city is wonderful. After breakfast we took a 10:00 AM Panoramic Tour of Oslo. It is a beautiful city with very interesting architecture. Norway has been either ruled by Denmark or Sweden until 1905 when it got it's independence from Sweden after 4 centuries.
