    ... sooo successful - he is very very tiny so only ate a few ounces but none drained out of his mouth so that, is a huge moment for me.

    Lazy start. 09.00 brekky, said goodbye to the dining staff (all the hotel staff were very pleasant) and headed off to The Temple of Literature. Temple for studies of the great philosophers - built in 1070 in honour of Confucius. We learnt that Hanoi students come here for photographs on their graduation day - we saw plenty.

    ... at all . I thought a big library / temple storing the scholars work . But it was built as temple to pay respect to Confucius. Vietnam has been heavily influenced by the Chinese occupation , and the respect for education is part of that.
