After a long morning we got our groove on this afternoon. Nevada was not as awful as I had feared. Jeremy is filthy. He has a bunch of bug bites - 50-60. He loved camp. We are enjoying the new hotel quite a bit. We were able to get a bigger room since we had to get a new one on the ride. We like the extra space. We have a little breakfast nook and …

... into the boys going forward and the girls going back. PAC man, Flow, jimmy joe ,and freedom train alone on top of the mountains. Our pace was going much slower then we had expected. Jimmy joes ankle was still hurting, and the scenic vistas made us stop at every peak. Every time we hit one peak we would drop down 500ft just to walk back up 1,000 more. As the day wore on the scenery got better, but we all were starting to get tired. Morale was slowly dropping as ...

Dinner was at the Star Hotel in Elko, one of our very favorite restaurants anywhere. This famous Basque restaurant is often rated the finest restaurant in all of Nevada, even over those in Las Vegas with famous chefs. As usual, we could only finish about half of the meal, and saved the rest for the future in our RV refrigerator. We drove on to settle for the night in the Iron Horse RV Resort in Elko. ...
