      As a side trip from Baguio we caught a bus down to the western coast, just north of San Fernando, to the "surfing capital of northern Luzon." We stayed in another very noisy room, but it was cheap and spacious. We also found my favorite restaurant so far called Aplaya (on the road near Kahuna's surf resort).
