    ... town, just north of San Fernando City. The bus dropped us at the main surf beach, where we grabbed a quick bite to eat and had a quick look around some of the accommodation. Nothing looked great considering the price they were asking, and the beach was full of kids in surf school. This town (technically Urbiztondo) is a surf destination and we ran in to more foreign tourists here than we have anywhere else. Traveling – try to stick to few islands as possible, flying gets expensive and boats not always reliable, wear jeans and a hoodie when boarding an air-con bus even if it is 35C outside, the driver and passengers are dressed in snowboarding gear for good reason! Food – Buy Jolly Bee, much better than McDonalds
