I was really looking forward to visiting the place where many of my ancestors were born & had lived. We were picked up from Alison's by Rory & Uncle Innes & set off to visit Friockheim & Arbroath (Our Scottish family call it the 'Friockheim Experience') We headed straight to the Friockheim Cemetery to visit the grave of my paternal great grandfather Robert Innes, great grandmother Jessie Innes & great uncle Robert Innes. It has been a joy from beginning to end.

The campsite shower is indeed basic but adequate: 50p in the coin meter delivers enough hot water for both of us so no complaints there and no queue since there are only three people on the campsite including us! We find ourselves on the road in no time. We arrive ...
