While traveling through Ontario, today, we saw one moose, one black bear then a mother moose and two calves and then another moose! They were all safely away from the highway. Too fast for us to get a picture of though. More beautiful scenery of rugged rock cliffs and big lakes. We decided to take the more northern route on Highway #11. It's a little shorter and a lot quicker. Another long travel day puts us over halfway there! We're staying in Cochrane, ON ...

Happy Star Wars Day! "May the 4th be with you!" A more leisurely start to the day with a walk on the shore of Lake Superior & of course with a Ontario Tim's coffee in hand. Less kms today with only 700 behind us. One of the highlights of the day was a local beaver guiding us down the highway! How Canadian is that ...

... going. Nice camping area, fresh smell of the trees and mosses. Back to nature.
A little drizzle of rain over the evening.
Some construction on the highway getting here, but to widen the highway it is worth the extra time. Wave "Hi" to the flagman (woman).

        And we're off!

We spent our final week in Canada in Ontario visiting Shane’s family and friends, a leg of the trip which included Lyndsey’s first trip to Iroquois Falls and Toronto (loved both of them by the way!). Much thanks ...
