I did it! Everything for two weeks in a carry-on size suitcase that I'll check, plus a large shoulder bag I'll carry on. Those of you who know me well, know I pack that much for a weekend in the wine country.I can't believe this day is finally here, or that I am so lucky to be making this trip with my dear friend, Frances. I drive to SF in the morning, and we fly out at 5 pm to Rome, changing planes in London. Will post pics as soon as I have some!

... a bit strenuous. There are 526 stairs, the lighting on the stairs isn't particularly good, the passageways are frequently narrow and the headroom is frequently quite low. The cave has some decorations but it's not nearly as spectacular as Carlsbad Caverns National Park or Lehman Cave in Great Basin National Park.

... green, gas fire pits, etc. It has underground sprinklers, expanded cable (over 50 channels), 2 separate buildings for showers and laundry - both extremely spotless - even Ana would agree. It has several dog walks and even has a dog wash area (shampoo, flea and tick, conditioner, rinse, etc). All sites have a double concrete pad and grass between sites. They also have sites overlooking the Sacramento River.
