      ... What is so funny? This place is awful!!" moaned Dawn. I told her, just look at the ceiling. This did not add to her comfort level. She did not sleep all that well that night, especially, after we discovered that the mattress had a vinyl or rubber like cover on it, and I told her that was so that they could hose it down once in a while.       Barbie has just packed away her pearls, the push-up bra is being left behind as well as looser Ken. Those 4 inch heels have been replaced with her L.L. Bean hiking shoes.       Today was bittersweet as it was our last day with the Shifrins and our time in Maine was drawing to a close. Besides, we needed to start thinking about things like getting the kids to the Doctor so they could enrol in school, setting up our apartment and, in general, beginning the process of readying ourselves to get back into a routine and starting school and work!!!!
