      ... warrior sculptures, very stunning and impressive. See photos. The walking approach to the archaeological site is an extensive garden of prickly pear and other cactus. We saw cactus wrens there. We left the site and found a very nice hotel in town and we were very happy to be there. Not colonial, but modern, roomy, comfortable and very reasonable. We struck out of there about 8:00 am. We had to drive to Toluca to return our rental car, hopefully catch a bus to ...

      ... that Portugal has to offer. One city calls itself the Venice of Portugal! Should be interesting. But first I will head 40 minutes west to Sintra a UNESCO World Heritage Site after that it is east to Evora another World Heritage Site with amazing castles and ancient ruins.       ... down. We still had a smidgen of hope....the divider went back up. Then we watched as the divider went back down again and still....NOTHING!

      We were SOOO close to getting to the US and we were stuck in France, I mean Quebec!!! C'etait trop drole! (It was too hilarious in French)

      The song that immediately popped into my mind was Hall and Oats "So Close"...The song's chorus was on reel in my mind..."So close, yet so far away...."

      ... the end of the night and the conclusion of our time together we had an overall winner. Sara was still on 0, Jess was still on 0, Brett was on 2 wins and Tim on 3!!!!!       ... home just before 7pm to a lovely dinner of homemade calzones.
      While this was going on, Tim, Brett and the kids made their way back to the camp on the lake and spent the day on the sailboat, tubing, kayaking, swimming, eating hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and all around relaxing.
