Our flight to Cairo was at at 6am. Because it was an international flight, you have to be at the airport at least 2 hours early and because we were staying quite a distance from the airport, we had to get up before 3am. Not my favourite time to rise but a small price to pay for adventuring the globe! There is quite a lot of civil unrest in Egypt at …

... to traverse the road. The pollution, both noise and gasses, is nauseating and disorientating. It's really quite sad that from my experience in Cairo, the people who don't want to be your friend want your money but even those who do want to be your friend, they still want your money. There is no such thing as free advice, let alone a free lunch. I got hustled by a elderly man who must have been in his mid 70s which really destroyed any trust I had ...

... are like Nefertiti” This had me cackling… 5 million camels?! “What am I going to do with 5 million camels” I said… He just smiled. It was time to escape from the Nubian man… As we tried to make our way into the mosque, he quickly remembered that he had another purpose and asked if we then wanted to buy any of his trinkets. We said no, and he let us be. But alas that wouldn't be the last time we saw ...
