The boat is a simple cruise boat but it does include KTV for anyone so inclined. There are all of 6 foreigners on the entire boat, the four in my tour group and two others from Australia ...

The food was nice and there was plenty of it - a mix of local styles and western Chinese dishes. And of course the weird combinations. I usually ate with a group of Americans at either of 2 tables. One group of retirees from Florida the other 4 30 something's from NY and Hawaii. All pleasant enough. The rest ...

... the water started filling up the lock. The ship was slowly and smoothly being lifted up by the incoming waters. Next thing we knew, the gate opened and we crossed. It was an awesome process! Afterward, we went downstairs for buffet style lunch. It was delicious as usual and filled us up once again. One things for sure, no passenger on board can complain about being hungry.

We all gathered once again on ...
