Ian estimates that because of the long gestation period for a rhino and the poaching the rhinos maybe gone from this park in 5 yrs or less. ... plants and many, many surface coal mines. This place must have a plethora of natural resources. It was amazing to see all the coal mines so near the factories. I’d say that was outstanding planning.

... just struck me in those moments that we are far too eager to say "finish this journey on your own." We were never meant to finish journeys on our own, nor to abandon others to do so. And how grateful I am that Jesus doesn't look at me and say, "you're too slow and you're too heavy," and leave me to finish the journey alone. Just some food for thought.
