We went for a tour of the Royal Palace and were amazed at the size and how it had been preserved in its original state. We also went for a guided tour of the treasury and were very interested to hear and learn the history of the Swedish Royal family, through their crowns, swords & sceptres.

A barrier to the rest of us, Mom had the opportunity to put her Swedish skills into full mode with asking for directions to help desks and talking with the passport lady, who was quite pleasant and had a lovely smile. I can't help but wonder if that's a requirement as the first official greeter for Sweden. First two stops were to the luggage carrier and the restroom.
