... After the obligatory Clair's and cream and double espresso, we said goodbye to Claude and headed to Vevey, a lovely coastal town with a strong artistic heritage. The walk along the promenade and back through the town took 90 minutes and was a pure joy. Only sunshine and warm weather has followed us all the way through Europe so far, and these towns come to life in this climate. On our walk we passed the local preschool, (no, not the boulangerie)..the kids were outside..teacher making sure all were rugged up..then she let them go..snow fights and rolling around..just like Milo likes to do on his morning run in the paddock...sorry field Now, one more cup of tea and off to the aeroport! Looks as if Geneva as well as the outlying districts had snow last night..parked cars, footpaths and roofs all the way to the airport were covered..and the snowploughs ...
