... up about 460 feet up into the air. It is considered one of the largest fountains in the world and is Geneva's most famous landmark.
My absolute favorite thing I saw in Geneva was the chocolate grocery store. Yes, a grocery store filled with only chocolate. Can you say heaven on earth?
Although I wished I would have been able to stay longer, at the end of the day we had to venture back to the airport to hop on a plane to Paris.

Geneva Switzerland
... made of Gruyère cheese and bread. It was good and gen loved it but if I am going to be honest, I don't need to eat it again...perhaps I'd dip my raw vegetables in the cheese but when in Switzerland do what the Swiss do. I made a nice large salad and washed down the cheese with salad and hot tea. Gen is feeling better and is tolerating food again which is nice and just in time for Germany where she swears we will find the best food... W'll have to see about that ...
Travel day...
... have free wifi but it didn't work so I left gen to read her Kobo and walked around to find free wifi next to impossible but I managed 30mins if I didn't move just enough time to contact our next host Ioan. He is travelling back to Geneva today as well and will meet us downstairs shortly. I will write later... Tomorrow I have my walking map ready and we have many a sight to see : ...
Geneva Weekend trip

Not wanting to leave the beautiful mountain countryside just yet, I continued on to Leysin to undertake an impressive attempt to jog up La Berneuse (2048m). Not so impressively, I utterly failed.
