We left Rome very early this morning. Our transport to the airport was by bus, but  since we arrived too late at Termini yesterday to buy our tickets, we had to purchase them right before the bus arrived. ... really teach in school about how the war was fought in Norway as well. It still baffles my mind how something like WWII could happen, especially to the magnitude to which it did. But that's a discussion for another time.

The last couple of weeks have been busy... continuing the trend set over the first few. Still in a mad dash to see all the major European attractions before my Eurail pass expires, I last left you on the train to Krakow, Poland. It was a pleasant trip, as I opted to not pay for a couchette, but rather take my chances in the general seats. Well, turns out (maybe by destruction) the seat reclines fully to prone position, there are lockable doors on the seating cabin, and the train is next ...
