    A wonderful accident!

    Because we missed the train, the NSB booked a room for us. It was not very big but was very confortable and clean, with friendly staff, well located and the best of all, a wonderful breakfast buffet to start the day just right!

    ... Theater, Royal Palace, Frogner Park where we saw all of Vigeland's sculptures depicting the circle of life. Quite extraordinary. Wonderful dinner at Olivia an Italian restaurant a short walk from our hotel. Oslo is such an easy city to be in especially because you can walk or bike to most attractions. We have been so lucky with the weather -- sunny and mid to high 70's during the day. The night air is so perfect for sleeping and such a treat for us ...

    ... to the grocery store just to get fresh baked croissants. Good thing we walk a lot.

    Yesterday, We went on a hike instead of running. We took the metro to Frognerseteren and went to a restaurant were we bought water and some delicious blueberry muffins with blueberry and custard in the middle. Eli insisted. Google said the hike would take about an hour. It took us about 2 hours. Norwegian hikes consist of many breaks.

    ... americans and celebrated ther independence day. Ketchup salad! In the evening, me and Markus met up with Halstein and went out again. Halstein took us to two awesome micro breweries and then me and Markus kept partying all night. The last three hours we drank cognac and recorded songs in his apartment... posted on request... ...
