We flew in to Oslo on a Friday afternoon and met Chris' parents in preparation for a train trip through the forest to Myrdal from where we transferred to a small gauge railway to Flam and then a fast ferry down the longest fjord in Norway - the Sognefjord.

The round trip took about an hour and a half. We only got off once at
Vigelandsparken (don’t I sound Norwegian, Yah) Sculpture Park. It was pretty
cool. All these sculptures of naked people. Heaps of them. The rest of the ride
was pretty good. Oslo is a very pretty city with heaps of museums, which, strangely,
we didn’t visit. Did go past the Royal Palace and the Vestbanen ...

All in all it was a fairly good tour as tours go. Before we
knew it we were back on board, to rest up before late dinner sitting & to
watch a Tribute Elton John Show before bed.
A cuppa on the top dining deck & to see the Sun at Twilight &
guess what time it is 11.30 pm UNREAL that the sun is just doing its’ last rays
at this time at night. Another day ...
