... museum consists of three old Viking ships that were used as burial sites and whatever was found in them. Because Vikings believed strongly in the afterlife they would often put things of value into the grave with the dead. Some of the sites were plundered long ago, but there were still some old artefacts that were recovered, such as carts, cooking equipment, weapons, etc.
