Our berth was alongside the outer pontoon but about 8metres outside us was a rocky islet, so we knew that no other boat would raft against us as they would block the channel, so we were quite happy with the choice. Moreover, we later discovered that there was a free bus service to town so in our book, this was a much better choice to spend the night.

There is a baptism today and one of the guests arrives in a Ostfold Bunda - Karen has hit pay dirt. On the way back into town we drive past the Asak and Tiestedal churches one more time still not sure it is the church in the picture. We are now on the shopping street in Halden ...
