Stuff I Miss - Volume 1
... A short walk from the dorm to the dinning center and tadaa! All the food you could ever care to eat. Now I'm pretty much on my own for food, unless someone is kind enough to share their cooking or we eat out. Though I must say, I am slowing starting to pick up some culinary skills. Hopefully by the end of the semester I'll be a master chef!
2. Driving home on weekends. I miss the feeling of getting out of my last class of the week ...
Antalya and home
... than an hour and if you are in a hurry, don't use it. If you would like a tour of the town it is perfect. I think we paid 2,5 TRY for both of us.
We will soon go back to Turkey. There is something with that country I can't explain, but it has grabbed my heart completely.

Luggage
It is just a couple of days till we are going to Turkey and now we are packing our suitcases. Tomorrow morning we will drive to Oslo and stay at our apartment there and be "tourists" for two days before leaving for Turkey Thursday morning.
My wife has started to collect shoes for the holiday and I always wonder why she need so many of them. At least a new pair every evening:-)

Unexpected Fredrikstad
... happy we came in. It turns out that the old town is still intact behind ramparts surrounding the town, with a real drawbridge and gated entrance, and 17th to 19th C buildings on cobbled streets. As we entered town, we noticed something was up, as there were barriers and vans with trailers entering… obviously a market of some kind happening. We found a lovely coffee shop which turned out to actually be the breakfast room in a guest house… and the coffee was complimentary. ...
