Just outside of town we headed to the official 94 Winter Olympic bobsled track. Might sound a little stupid to do in summer but they converted a sled to have wheels to go round the concrete track. Clever aye. Well the challenge was on who could be the fastest team down the track. It was absolutely awesome. A perfect day - forgetting our troubles on Sunday
... rock had a funny lichen growing on it that left us bright yellow wherever it touched us, from sitting on it we had comically yellow bottoms. After swimming we spent a while climbing, scrambling, jumping, crawling and sliding over the cliffs downstream to where we stopped and spent a few hours carving sticks and making a water turbine. We could have spent hours more down by the river but very hungry tummies were calling so we scrambled up the slopes again ...

... camp that seemed to spit on you. A few moments later I woke up properly and realised I was not dreaming and it was now raining much heavier on us. We pulled ourselves deeper into the bivvi bag but then if our heads are in the bag it fogs up inside from our breath and then is wet inside and outside the bag. It was all too much at this moment and I burst into hysterical crying.

A lesson in kindness
... used our new mozzie net across the door, held in place with two foam pool noodles which worked a treat. We slept in the same narrow bed, rolling over in synchrony throughout the night. I was very glad it doesn't get dark at night around here this time of year, every time I woke up thinking I’d heard something I was very happy I could look around and see clearly.

Reisefeber....
... med vi er passe utslitte etter en 30 (!!!) timers lang reise, så den første dagen blir nok brukt til lite aktivitet og mye! soving.. synes i og for seg 30 timer høres utrolig lenge ut, men heldigvis er det inkludert mellomlandinger; 12 timer på Heathrow (ja, hva i alle dager skal man egentlig finne på da? tips anyone??) og fire timer i Miami! Enn så lenge skal jeg nyte de siste dagene på Toten med litt jobbing og enda mer forberedelse! Fred ...
