... Eve dinner party with family and friends. We had Turkey roast with vegetables which was beautiful, then also some desserts and chocolates and lots to drink! The karaoke started up and was great. At midnight, we all went outside where all the fireworks were going off, some quite close! The fireworks went for a while then went back inside for some more karaoke! The night ended about 3.30am but I retired at 2am!! Too much shopping to keep up! A good start to 2014 ...

Today, Weds, is another simply superb sunny day and I guess that now we are going home the weather will continue to,be magnificent.
Tonight, we are having dinner with Kari and Haakon and will,head off north to Oslo from there.
So, that's the end of another fantastic trip.

... to the supermarket.........bloody hell! Food is so expensive here! We saw some fresh tuna steaks that were $100/kg! Whilst salmon was a snip at only $35.... but fresh local strawberries were a bargain at about $20 / punnet..
