There were also at.least 40 camper vans here too but too early for the occupants at 6.30 am so we had this place to ourselves..45 of us. ...

... broth and demonstrated a variety of clothing and household items made from reindeer hides and bones. Two reindeer were standing in a pen outside, but the herd was not to be seen in the summer pasture. Nine Sami families live in this area and they cooperate in managing the herd of 40,000 - one reindeer for each person. In the winter they live in modern homes which are scattered around ...

... find something to eat at the breakfast and lunch buffets. At this first lunch we are faced with economic reality as all drinks (including bottles of water) are on a fee basis. Way different from having an all inclusive drink package on our trans Atlantic cruise. Thirteen dollar beers and fifteen dollar cocktails have us considering a life of sobriety, but not for very long! We had a running joke every time we ordered a drink about which ...
