    I opened the curtains this morning and everything was white. Most of it was owing to thick fog - you couldn't see the lake 10 metres away - but the snow-covered trees were clearly visible and the ground had a sprinkling of powder.     ... this country was expensive but a glass of wine, a beer and a packet of nuts ..228 Kroner .. $45 !!. .....I'm giving up alcohol for a while Dinner, if you could call it that, $171 for two buffets and two beers !!,, holy cow.!!     ... find something to eat at the breakfast and lunch buffets. At this first lunch we are faced with economic reality as all drinks (including bottles of water) are on a fee basis.
