... There were more customer service people there but I nearly had to tackle one to get their attention. Eventually, I showed my ticket to one of the drivers and he told me yes I was getting on the right bus but I had to get off at Otta not Dombas. I hopped on the bus but I felt nervous the whole way up. Every time the bus stopped in a town it was at a servo or in the street, I couldn't see any signs saying which town we ...

Today we went for a drive west toward Bergen. This way out the mountains were more dramatic, if that can be said. This morning I was up early to catch the 8.05 to Hovet to meet my cousins dad. On the train I had my eyes glued to the window almost the entire way. It is really pretty here. Huge mountains covered in forest, except for where the rocky cliffs jut out. Every so often we would come across a small patch of land which had been cleared for agriculture. No more than about 60 acres. Almost every barn I saw was red with a white trim. I think that maybe that's the ...

Sunday morning: Stuck in the middle of nowhere with a broken down car and the previous weeks' beautiful sunshine has been substituted for an absolute downpour.

The lady at the lodge brought me a coffee as I tried to call my insurance company on the very slight chance that my policy might cover something towards the breakdown. Unsurprisingly not. Even if I had taken out the breakdown recovery extra, a tow for 10 miles wouldn't have been close to enough to get me ...
