... you simply never know what your coming out to. You might head into it along the side of a lake. Then inside it twists and turns and goes up and down etc and by the time you exit the tunnel you may be high up in the mountains and surrounded by snow.For some reason today I was feeling exhausted and was just not in the mood for riding. ... onto our balcony and realized it was the Northern lights. We freaked out!!!! We put layers of jackets on over our pj's, had 6 pairs of socks on and dragged our blankets and pillows onto the balcony. We were still freezing but it was totally worth it. Then we got a prepaid bus ticket until the end of our stay directly from the bus company, which was way cheaper than the tickets we would have gotten on the bus - I highly recommend this too, the system is clever and can help you reduce transport costs a lot. We also tried to visit the actual cathedral in the city, but it was closed too.
