... rumors that lineups at security were quite long, and so we got there pretty early. Luckily for the me rumors were unsubstantiated and I breezed through into the shopping mall that is terminal 2. It was really sad to say goodbye to Sharena and Sunny - the final farewell of my UK trip. Even now, almost four days later, I still have not grasped the enormity of the transition. It didn't seem real then. It felt like I would see them again in a few days.

It was an early start. We had to be at Victoria Station from where our coach was to leave just before 9am. It sounds like we would have plenty of time but the local bus No.73 took quite a while dealing with the early peak hour London traffic. However, we had a good trip in and met up with Jodie who had come from Lani's home. The coach took us to Oxford where we met up with Jodie’s good friend, Danni who lives in the city. It must ...

... The chemistry buildings, each discipline had its own. They were several blocks down from the main college area and were clearly built in the 20th century. Again I was thwarted from visiting the building, but this time it was because it was a weekend.
I moved on to the Darwin museum they had near by. It was free and full of cool taxidermy animals and rocks. The best thing in there, a shetland pony. They are so cute and furry!

... sordid affair. Wandering back to the hotel we came across a pizza cafe so decided to get a takeaway. Was a bit taken back at first because we were the only ones in the cafe apart from the owner and his two friends who were enjoying pizza and wine at the back of the cafe. They were very welcoming though and so we ordered a drink from the bar while waiting for our order. Got chatting to the waiter who mentioned his daughter was traveling through ...
