    I have some pictures of the butchers and they have rows and rows of turkeys ducks and geese just waiting to be bought for Christmas. The excavation is still continuing and covers a massive area comprising of a great bath, sacred spring, temples, peoples baths, worship areas, courtyards, spring overflow and drain and suites of roman baths.     I decided against taking a sleeping bag, as I would predominantly be staying in hostels and guesthouses, who provide linen (choosing to use the silk sheet as a liner in less than clean accommodation)

    All in all, weighing in at a not-too-shabby 11kg for my main rucksack and 3kg for my day sack!
