... Hong Kong to start, then Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane. Then cool down in Dubai for a couple of days. Everything after Canberra will be done by train - I want to actually see some of the country! I would have LOVED to do more - go up to Cairns or to Adelaide, Tasmania, and the red centre and the west coast, but time and funds simply do not allow. ... not really a good time of year up in the Highlands to go aimlessly romping around :P<br><br>In December I'll be heading home quickly, nothing special - but then I have 2 big breaks coming up.. ... all taken care of the adventuring will begin. I'm starting to think Ill hop over to Dublin for a day or two before I start traveling south because I am dying to taste their Guinness! Ill write as soon as I know, but I think Ill be lounging around Scotland for two weeks while I get my ducks in a line. ... I'll be back in Tucson by 8:35 p.m. I've drawn some conclusions from my trip to Scotland. First, it's not as foreign as I expected. Once you get over the accent and the fact that they drive on the other side of the road here, it's easy to forget that you're abroad. We went to a bar where they knew the person singing, and I just sat nursing a pint of McEwan's and watched as young Scottish folks trickled into the bar and, astonishingly, danced to such undanceable music as The Cranberries' "Zombie," Oasis' "Wonderwall," and so forth. A must-see for those traveling in Scotland for the first time.

... like Finland and South Africa home. I caught sight of those places in aspects that I never would have known even if I had visited the place. Back to studying, philosophy is done and now only anthropology and modern art history stand in the way of the summit of Ben Nevis, London, Venice, Verona, my last day in Aberdeen and then Dublin.

... to cook dinner. I went to the grocery store, came back and cooked a couple of frozen pizzas! Hey it's not gourmet or anything, but we were hungry. Today we checked out of our hostel and are going to take that offer from Dave and Kaz. So much for being short and sweet and I hope you like my blog because it took me an hour to type this!
