We were looking forward to waking in the morning and seeing the lake.

... my brother, Tom, who just had a stroke. We will assess his living conditions and make sure that he is in the right place. I am next of kin for him, so we might have some legal work to do, too.

Our plans are to perhaps head to Houston next and travel the gulf coast and then head across the Southwest to Las Vegas and then home. This will be a trip where we circumnavigate the country. ...
