We arrived very early so left our bags at the hotel and went for a walk to blow away jet lag. It was a beautiful day and I saw lots of local wild life in Holland park and Kensington gardens. Squirrels, swans and other birds. Lots of people walking dogs, jogging even X-Country skiing on land too.
Mum liked the Kyoto Garden in Holland Park. There …

Today we woke after a solid 12hr sleep in a bed that could fit both of our families. We wandered the streets looking for somewhere to have breakfast and we stumbled on a place not far from the hotel that was a small Parisian cafe, where we both had scrambled eggs with salmon on toast with a side of hollandaise sauce, it was delicious!! We returned …

We began our day by heading off to the train and alighting at Victoria Station to purchase tickets for a double decker bus tour and a river cruise. On the bus we set off through Belgravia …

Packing up our cases was was like putting together three jigsaw puzzles with the pieces mixed up together! Finally in a manageable state we headed off to Wolvercote to …

Welcoming and helpful hotel. A little tight for the three of us, it was clean and comfortable. A little noisy but all big cities are I guess. It is very convenient to our sort of attraction.
