This is a great little hotel, but I would recommend booking in advance as it can be quite busy. The rooms offer everything you need (hot shower, air-con, WiFi; but the staff could do with a couple of lessons in customer relations. The owner was extremely rude, and made everything seem like a chore.

The streets are lined with tailor shops with the most beautiful winter coats, dresses, suits etc. outside. They will make to measure anything in 24 hours for extremely reasonable prices! We didn't get …

I took the sleeper bus to Hoi An which was interesting. The bus has two levels of beds top and bottom. All the westerner travelers were on top and the locals were on the bottom. The beds are small and there's really no room for your bag. Luckily I have a place that I created for mine but other people who are over 6 foot had serious problems.

As I was nearing the half way point I was really looking forward to a couple of days rest and relaxation in 'Hoi An' before completing the final stint of the trip towards the north. Surprisingly after yesterdays alcohol experimentation I was suffering no ill effects, and was up early to get on the road. Following 'Rt14e' we head east toward the …

You know things have got bad when you have been wearing the same underwear for 3 days in a row. This is when I realised it was time to just stop, let go and put some washing on. 4kg of it! Nearly all of my clothes were in that wash leaving me strutting around the place in my Disney underwear that was marked as emergency only. Anyway, enough …
