          ... old churches and buildings.

Both Friday and Saturday nights were fun (Sunday was dead as only a Catholic country in Europe can be(. Zurich used to have a reputation for being boring and staid, but it supposedly has proportionately more clubs than any other city in Europe. I have no idea what "proportionately" means in that last sentence - I am quoting Wikitravel. Proportionate to what, Wiki? Of the two main bar areas, go ...

... now. It was a wonderful trip, full of surprises, the sushi session I was so wanting to be part of and an ice cream competition on the night before our departure. It is amazing in what different light you can see a country and its people. Back on the coach we set out for Liechtenstein and a lunch stop in Vaduz, the capital. Only a tiny place of two and a half thousand people, it is a banking centre of the little country which lies on one bank of the Rhine River. We had lunch a tavern - Sue and I having some Thai snacks - quite incongruous to have Thai ...

After a great nights rest in our upgraded suite, we head down the mountain of Paradiso and explore lake Lugano. It takes us forever to find a spot to park the car, as parking near the main town is limited as most of the cobble streets are for pedestrians. We walk along the lake and take in the views, it's quite pretty but doesn't quite compare to Lake Como in Italy. We arrive to the centre of the Lugano town, the kids have a few turns on ...
