    Today we were in three different countries - left the boat in Germany, went by bus into the Czech Republic, then continued by bus back to the boat which had moved into Austria, where we are right now.

    ... downwards and proved to be very irritating as the day wore on. It was very beautiful following the river. There's lots and lots of trees (pines of some sort) and steepish slopes. The bike path is mostly very flat with just a few smallish inclines. We had 2 small ferry (fahre) crossings for around 1 or 2 euro each. Good income for the local people.
