Arriving just in the nick of time, Arber and Besim collected us from Vienna airport just as their was a suspicious unattended bag in the arrivals section of the he airport. It was closed off as the police invaded the area, cutting it off - no one could get in, or out... Our hotel for the next few days is a Sport Hotel(!!) So, we are all on a little bit of a health kick!

The hotel comes with a large gym which is free for guests to use - we took advantage of that alot!! There's also a bowling alley inside the hotel. In our heads, we were imagining a big hi-tech bowling centre like David Lloyd; what we got was a VERY dated room that smelt like sick and 3 VERY old bowling lanes with what looked like melons for bowling balls. The western part of Hungary is as far to the west we will be coming on this tour.
Before we had been thinking of leaving it out, because it really is very far to the west. But it was worth the "detour".
