... I too donned my jacket and was ready to go caving. We lined up to start our tour and the guides handed out lanterns that would be used inside. Unlike all the caves we have been to back home, there are no lights inside these caves. The only lights would come from our lanterns that had a naked flame and the tour guide who continuously lit magnesium strips to burn a bright white light that was lucky to last 60 seconds at a time. ... sunning themselves and swimming in the alpine waters of lake Eben am Achensee. We found some parking and took a little walk to explore. Pete made reference that he would love to see this place from one of the surrounding alps, well I looked up and saw a gondola rising up. All in all we had a really fun time on all of our day-trip adventures while Barb and Carly were here! It was sad but interesting to learn about the victims of the Third Reich, but also indescribable to see Königssee and the Eagle's Nest. I would definitely recommend seeing all of it if you ever get the opportunity to visit Germany!

Well friends, that's all I've got for now!

Cheers!

The train ride from Vienna was breathtaking as we traveled through a gorgeous valley surrounded by striking mountains. Zell Am See is a beautiful town on a lake in the valley. We were so happy to see such gorgeous mountains and get out of the city even for just a day. We spent our entire time in awe of Mother ...
