Bye bye Greek Islands...back to Athens

A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Aug 06, 2014

... from the Greek tour will be there and I can go for a day trip down to Pompeii which is the only place in Italy that I still really wanted to see. Boom trip to Rome booked!! Decision made and fight booked at 1am ready to leave the hostel at 7am the next morning to fly at midday. Probably the most spontaneous decision I've ever made (I'm not very adventurous). We had pork skewers, tzaziki, oregano potatoes, salad and bread. So yum! After lunch we got back on the boat and had a few more swim stops. We were able to play our own music so we were blasting the kiwi music and having a bit of a dance. We got back to shore about 5pm and everyone ...

... small bus through the island and Pigros is a very pleasant village. We have a coffee and decide to leg it down to Panoramas which is about 3k away and down on the coast, loads of wildflowers. Quiet spot, a few tavernas and ...
