Today we arrived in the Greek Island of Corfu. It was quite rocky over night and when we arrived in Corfu it was rainy and overcast. Today's tour included the highlights of Corfu and wine tasting. We went to the monastery of the Virgin Mary first. I must admit there were a few times I said a few prayers when I could look out the bus straight down the cliff. I just hoped the driver had done this before as they don't leave any room for error. As ...

... manual. But Brian left his licence behind, so guess who got the gig as driver? We started well, driving from the main town of Kerkira to Paleostritsa, where we took a boat-ride to the famous caves. The coastline there is so like Broughton! From the rocks and rugged headlands to the blue-green water, we were amazed at the similarities. The place was even inhabited by crusty old fishermen! There was a "blue cave" and indeed the water ...

... and jumped up and the bloody thing flew over my head missing me by inches. Anyone who knows me well (stop laughing Sam and Josh) knows I have a phobia when it comes to pigeons. The young couple at the next table laughed their heads off and I said with embarrassment that I hated them, The girl said she did too. About 10 mins later another table of people got up to leave and left food on the table. All of a sudden about a dozen pigeons sqwarking their ...
