... and got some fresh hot waffles, shaped like the Cathedral with melted chocolate on, and some delicious Stollen. It was a one hour drive to Vaals / Holland. A cute little town. We had dinner at Mo'ment, an interesting little resturant. Duck was the speciality. Matt had huge ribs and H a vegetarian lasagna. Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal Vaals was where we stayed and it was lovely. 18C restored manor house, and we were in the renovated wing.

Lot's of chocolates available that we don't see in Australia, we have nearly demolished the block of dark chocolate with pomegranate and chili. The fort in Maastricht was built in 1800s to protect the town from the French. It didn't help much as they had ...

... give way for us all the time. At least, thats the way we have treated it! Our journey took us through Tilburg, Eindhoven and Weert. Now we are here in Europe, i just rely on Paul to take the lead. Not only is it fantastic being able to admire his rear all day, but he also understands the European road system better than me. On a few occasions i still find myself looking in the wrong ...
