Jackson Hole-Perfect end to our trip

We ended the trip with an overnight stay in Jackson Hole. Our stay at the Wyoming Inn was a perfect end to our Yellowstone/Grand Teton trip and we enjoyed the amenities of this hotel after staying in the more spartan national park lodging. The Inn had well-decorated rooms with extremely comfortable beds. We paid $189 for our room. The extras included a great breakfast, snacks/drinks, free computer use, free use of a washer/dryer, free airport shuttle and the free town shuttle had a stop right...

On our way to Jackson

Another 5 hours of traveling was ahead of us as we left the SLC airport hotel. However, it went pretty first as we watched the scenery go by. Lots of hills and mountains, albeit naked ones. We miss seeing mountains that have forests on them. Beautiful rock formations on the way north. We stopped at a rest area about 1/2 way up and near the restrooms we came upon a family of Marmots that were not shy and came up to us looking for food. Of course, the kids couldn't turn them away and they found...

Historical Traveler Reviews of The Wyoming Inn Of Jackson

Best value in town.

from A TripAdvisor Member
I and my family were in Jackson for 3 days, and two nights at the begining of June and needed a base from which to attend a convention and also see some business clients. We booked two rooms at the Red Lion based on the reviews here and we were not disappointed.

The rate was $129 a night, per room, which was abit more then some of the old Jackson motels and motor inns, but for the extra $30 per room the quality was excellent. The rooms were spotless, large, well appointed and exceptionally quiet. They showed no wear what so ever.

The kitchen in the lobby was nice, quaint and more then sufficient for a continental type breakfast, no real warm items, but it was fine by me and most everyone else who stayed there. Nice little internet room on the second floor.

The hotel was right on the main road, which is why I was shocked it was so sound proof, but it's very convienient. Drive to down town take all of two minutes, lots of shopping and stores in walking distance, with a few decent places to eat right across the street.

Summary, I wouldn't stay any where else in Jackson in this price range. You can't miss here.

Wyoming Inn - great rooms, wonderful extras

from CGNY53
Our family - 9 of us ranging in ages from 10 to 75- just returned from a week-long trip to various places in Wyoming and S. Dakota. The Wyoming Inn was our favorite lodging of all (for everyone). The rooms are immaculate and upscale with lots of wood accents. Showers are great. The lobby is warm and welcoming, we spent lots of time by the fireplace playing games and reading the books on the coffee tables. The warm cookies each night brought us out of our rooms to chat by the tv or the fire. The internet access gave the teenagers a chance to catch up with their friends. The complementary beverages in the lobby made it feel more like home than anywhere else we stayed. We were here for 2 nights and were sorry to leave. I would highly recommend the Wyoming Inn to anyone visiting Jackson.

Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel with large rooms/bathrooms. Very clean. Friendly staff. The only downside is that the hotel is located a little far away from downtown, - you need a car to go downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Red Lion's Wyoming Inn is WONDERFUL

from sheetmusicsandy
We travel a LOT and stay some very nice places. Red Lion's Wyoming Inn is a cut above, trust me. The furnishings are all high quality and wonderful. Berber carpet, plaid blankets, paintings in the bathroom.......many little touches that make this place extra special. Their idea of a continental breakfast is special also. Someone served us coffee and hot sweet rolls (delicious!), and cleared our plates. There are beverages available all day and sometimes sweets as well. We are VERY impressed with this hotel, to say the least. Bravo to its owner and staff.

Great Comfortable Hotel!

from A TripAdvisor Member
After sleeping in some rough overpriced accomodations in Yellowstone Park (cabins/inns) we spent the last night at the Red Lion and we were ecstatic! We had a standard room and it was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The only drawback is that it is not within walking distance to the downtown area. It isn't far to drive but a little too far to walk. The Red Lion is similar to a nice Marriot but with more character. Plus we had a weekday rate of $99!

Excellent hotel and staff

Wonderful hotel and staff. The rooms are large with fireplace. The hotel serves large cont. breakfast along with drinks and treats throughout the day, all free of charge. The hotel also provides internet service and laundry facilities free of charge. The staff are helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Went in off the street looking for 2 night's accommodation. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and determined to offer us a price we were happy with. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast bountiful and the staff so very friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend it or stay here again. Ask them for their best price..you wil be surprised!

L-O-V-E-D the Red Lion/Wyoming Inn in Jackson!

from ssdmom
We had the absolute best time in Jackson....and we were fortunate enough to stay at the Wyoming Inn (Red Lion). What a wonderful experience......from the full spread breakfast in the morning to the hot chocolate chip cookies at night. We even got to check our emails at the computer center! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere so warm - we didn't want to go home! Yes---we'll stay there again! It was the ultimate "Wyoming" experience!

Oh a piece of heaven on Earth!

What a terrific Inn! So charming, cozy and romantic! We had our dog with us and they made us feel so welcomed and comfy! The decor was so charming. The fireplace made us feel right at home! Was close to town yet a skip away so it wasnt noisey! Plenty of area to take leisurely walks! The lobby made you feel like you were walking into your home! The front desk service was superb! The hotel were extremely affordable and the amenities were outstanding! I can hardly wait to return next winter and this time we are going to stay a week and make the ride to Yellowstone cause the hotel is worth staying at!

Overpriced average hotel

from A TripAdvisor Member
This hotel is much more expenisve than it should be. There are other hotels within walking distance that are equally nice and $50-125 less expensive. The hotel also was very difficult to deal with in changing reservations and double charged us for the room.
