So after a little worrying that nothing would come through....they did. The catalyst being an e-mail via the British Burns Association. Once that was sent out I received a few offers of places to visit; Galveston (Texas) and New York. Phew!

Additionally, I had a message from the Chairman of the Katie Piper Foundation asking whether I would like to contribute to the charity's own journal named the 'Journal of Burns, Scars and Healing', which is an exciting prospect. ...

We made our way back to the house on foot, stopping off at the co-op on the way to pick up a punnet of strawberries for Jenna and raspberries for me, for a beautiful fruit salad for our after walk snack. We sat down and watched an episode of House Rules ...

... went to the gym. I did a ripping shoulder snd arm session, I will definitely be struggling to lift my arms over the next couple of days. I also jumped on the scales at the gym which clocked me in at 101.6kg. I was pleased to know that my weight hasn't increased much since we have been here, hopefully I can shed a few kilos in the process! After the gym session Nikki picked me up and we went down to ...
