The next shot is of a farm (surprise, surprise) but it's there to illustrate just how entrenched is this right of way thing for walkers here. The path literally goes right through the farm. The trouble with booking a holiday too far in advance is that you are looking forward to the trip for such a long time you wonder if the day will ever arrive, but at long last it has.
