This statue has become an unofficial city mascot and has been stolen on many occasions. I don't love the whole language barrier thing, although generally people speak English very well I didn't want to tackle travelling to Bruge, not understanding the signs, driving on the wrong side of the road and the others had said they weren't overly impressed, besides, Thomas was going to keep saying Mannequin Pis so we should at least see it, so we headed out armed with a map and the boys. Well this has so far been an interesting day..got up at 6:00 and had the apt inspection at 7:15 with Alex....all ok and we got our damage deposit back. Then we sprinted to Brussels Nord and took the train to the airport to find that not only were the flights cancelled but any other flights we could get on would not have our luggage sent with us as the baggage handlers are also on strike....so ....back we went to Brussle Nord, bought train tickets to Frankfurt for 262.00 and are ...
