I can't tell you anything you already didn't know about this place I'm afraid, except that you get just as close from outside the perimeter fence as you do if you pay the entry fee so why pay?

... former glory. Such a shame - lucky I don't have to hunt out the ones in the UK, I can just see them on the continent in a few weeks. :)

There is a nice gated entry to the cathederal gounds. I particulary like the sheep and the boot hang above the shops next door to show the illiterates what they sell. Now I konw where to get my sheeps boots ;-)

Across the road is a tudor style house, the builder must of been drunk when laying the floor for the second story.

... morning run through the town center and outskirts. Found a lovely stream to jog along through town and past the the cricket pitch. Stumbled upon the Bishop Wolverslys Manor at the end of the run only to discover that we were parked almost next to it.

Back at the van we discovered that we were out of water (something I should of checked before leaving london) and so no Shower was possible for our sweaty bodies :(

Last night was a fitfull nights sleep. I guess all the last minute packing and thing to do were running through our minds.

We were out of bed before 7am... so much for being on holidays. Cleaning the flat one last time, and filling scooby with all the things we probably don't need.

9.15 and we're off to our very accomodating friends to drop off bags for the summer phase of our trip to be picked ...

On Monday morning we checked out and then went to Venice Beach and Santa Monica where we shopped some more. We then took the car back and went to the airport. The flight left at 17:35 and was just over 9 hours. We arrived home yesterday at around 11:20am UK time.

... who are doing the test on behalf of Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth. QA is where we are booked in to have the baby around our due date of 3 April 2010.

This test includes a blood test to check for risk factors such as Down's Syndrome. It is called The Nucal fold scan. At the same time the babies length was measured as 63.5mm!

... I believe that even though my mother grew up close by she never visited them once!! Probably a bit like me and local attractions.

We took a couple of meer cat shots to send back to Tash!! It was good to catch up with them again but time just went too fast and they had to catch the bus back to London.

... DVDs while eating lunch. Then we went into town to pick up a few things including an electrical adaptor for my laptop. I was disappointed to find that they didn't have any universal ones that would work for Europe as well so I had to settle on the only UK one. Then we went mattress shopping because Sonya said her back hurt from her current bed. We jumped up and down on several varieties before she found a few that she liked. I was glad ...

Well there is certainly something to be said for old friends. I haven't really seen anyone from home for over a year and well, it was a real treat to be able to meet up with some here in England. I missed my best friends' wedding a few months ago so I was quite excited to spend some quality time with her and her new husband. It's so weird to think of her as Sonya the wife. I am so used to thinking of her as Sonya the crazy fun chick who has way too much insurance on me. As ...
