... of the Napton flight

There were two CRT volunteers and they set the first lock for us. By the time we reached the top, a boat was waiting to come down. He had started at 0630, presumably from somewhere like Fenny Compton.

We completed the nine Napton Locks in 1h45m. James found a small very active mouse on the towpath (added to the team total)

... googled" my problem and find that I am not alone. Apparently Canon recognises that this is a problem that sometimes occurs - especially when it is hot and humid. It is something to do with the internal lens mechanism. I DON'T CARE what caused it... I just want it fixed!!

Canon will, so the website says, fix the problem but that will have to wait until I get back home. Meanwhile, I ...

Its good to spend multiple days in the one location sometimes. It lets you explore the place more closely and of course you don't have bags etc to pack, unpack and lug around.

Today the plan is church in the morning (in Thame where Robin and Andy Gibb are buried) and over to Oxford for lunch and afternoon adventure.
