The Whispering Meadows Resort Munnar

... the scenery. While Munnar itself is sucky, the beauty behind it is in the countryside amongst the endless rolling tea plantations and waterfalls. I get overcharged and walk back into town. So far this is my first bad day in India in the last 3.5 weeks here. I decide to shag ass outta Munnar and head back to the coast to Kochin, an old colonial fortress. I check the trains and hardly surprised I find that the only way out of Munnar is by taxi. At this point I no longer care and go.

After one ferry crossing, four rickshaws, two trains, two buses and a night's stay in a small town (with no internet connection) called Mettupalayam, I've finally arrived in Ooty!
