      ... I have a passport, Japanese money, credit card, and glasses. The insurance claim was posted this morning and my to do list now consists of buying flip flops and a bikini, send an email about volunteering in Cambodia and buy my flights to Bhutan! I'm on it!!       ... Visited an ASDA store which is a kind of cross between The Warehouse and a supermarket. Some very good prices!

    • Only downside was that most shops and the mall closed at 4pm which seemed a bit early.
    • We also took a photo of me outside Stranton Church, mainly for mum's benefit. Brienne felt a bit cold today but overall it was a very enjoyable and relaxing ...

      ... as although I kept drinking my Chia Charge I need to top up with a Chia Charge flapjack as well.

      Kildale 12 miles, just over 2 hours we were well within the cut off time. No drop bags, we were glad we'd not bothered especially as there were enough treats there to keep us going. A drink of coke, some sweets and a flapjack. On and up the road towards Bloworth. Good to chat to people in this giant game of leapfrog, knowing you'd be spending the day catching some people up ...

      ... testing the competition but there are probably as good tasting and better value deals to be had in Whitby.

      A walk around Whitby to view the harbour, amble along the quaint shopping streets, see the historic Abbey and explore the coastal path was a delight even if it was a little cold and breezy. The town was busy enough considering this was a Monday in early March and well outside the main tourist season. ...
