My first full day in the Dominican Republic just so happens to be a national holiday: El Día de Restauración (Restoration Day). Pretty much Independence Day #2 for Dominicans. Departure day. We didn't want to leave such a nice and tranquil place, but we had to, and besides which Ginny was waiting for us. We polished up our Spanish, though, if nothing else. Back to the dreaded airport. The departure hall has two temrinals, one of which is new, and is fully air-conditioned! And despite my horrible time I cannot really blame DR for the bad time, as I didn't even leave the resort - but the bad taste has been left and I will just never go back! <br>
