We had another 6 hours to go before getting to our campsite near New Orleans. When we arrived it was about 7 pm. We set up camp, Hugh and Matt played on the play structure and explored while I fixed dinner.
All in all it was a good day, long drive but we made it.
... a cake walk. They did first aid training and water recoveries. Their helicopter crashed in a swamp and they had to make their way out helping their injured team members (as there isn't a scratch on them I assume this was a drill).
Space Camp saw Number 1 creating plans for a moon base with his team and then standing up to present their ideas. They created heat shields ...
... and I was rebooked. At 6pm! So I immediately got online and Delta allows flight changes at no extra cost due to delays. So I rebooked to Ft. Lauderdale getting in at 3 pm. And that airport is actually closer to our condo rental than our original destination of Palm Beach. Hopefully we'll be on our way ...
