    ... and the next second he pulled out about eight different credit cards and told us the government stole from him so he's gonna steal millions back. Then he got to spiritual experiences in the graveyards of India so on, always changing from super happy to completely crestfallen. It was an exercise to even remotely listen!     ... find your itinerary so you can get past the airport guard to get in for your flight. Life hits! But we stand, in joy, basking in the gift of the grace that we just witnessed. How Jesus can change a life! Wow! How he lets us play a little role – get a glimpse of His work in people’s lives! We feel on cloud 9. :-)

    ... not nearly as hot as it was in Kansas City.  The warmest day was about 96 or so (still too hot for my Oregon standards), but that was a huge improvement after 106 in KC.  The second night in town, while waiting for the first of the baseball games, a thunderstorm moved in, bringing rain, thunder, lightning, and a drop of about 20 degrees in temperature.  It was AWESOME! Tomorrow it's off to Milwaukee and more baseball! ...

    I have become a 4th of July fan! From now on where-ever in the world I am, on this day, I'm going to celebrate it. There's just pure enjoyment written all over it. Perhaps I've been so impressed by how almost everyone here in the US forgets the world and their troubles and sees it for what it is - a day to relax and enjoy family and friends. Perhaps it's because our own national day, Waitangi Day suffers in comparison.
