A travel blog entry by nathancrang on Aug 09, 2014

Hi everyone, I arrived back in the UK yesterday after a very long journey about 26 hours total - fortunately I didn't feel too bad after it, just a little tired! I've had an amazing trip, thanks for reading the blog, it's been nice knowing that people have been keeping up with what I've been doing whilst I've been on my adventures. Additionally, inside the room it was 3 rickety steps up from the bedroom to the bathroom. An adventure in the middle of the night. Miserable night. We cancelled the additional night and found other accommodations that we could look at before we rented. Hopefully we get our room charge back. Informed we ...

HISTORY - ON LAND AND WATER

We started our adventure today going by boat to Greenway House down the Dart River. Greenway was the vacation house for Dame Agatha Christie and her family. Agatha loved Greenway and the Dartmouth area. In 1938, she and her archeologist husband paid the exorbitant price of 6,000 pounds for the large house and about 400 acres of oak trees along the river. Agatha would write one book ...
